applied to some jobs yesterday (got the laptop's fax to work by plugging it in to the phone) and gonna try to win me a scholarship thru ralph lauren tomorrow (or sometime soon) if i take the bus home...damn, i'm gonna smell like coffee :(
got stuff to do still....still haven't gotten my registration package from teh school.......grr........gonna try to call them tomorrow before work, but tha'ts at like, 7am...doubt anyone will be there...but i'll try anyway.

Wonderland fun yesterday! hehe. it started out kidna weird......because I was going to take the bus from S1...but I couldn't get on the bus! and then a second one came, and I coudln't get on that either! there were too many ppl! It was NUTS! but yeah.......I ended up asking two pairs of ppl if they wanted me to drive them if they helped me pay for gas/parking...so I did that....it was so awkward int eh car, cause I was trying to make small talk, but none of them were talking! well, the girl that sat int he passenger seat was nice and actually asked and offered a name.......but the other ppl, especially the asian couple were so distant! the guy went to western for ACS though. I asked how he liked it, but i don't think he realyl answered......cause i was like, "how did you like it? i don't really like it...I changed programs"...and then he didn't really say anything. but anyway. so it took u slike, 1.75hrs to get there cause of traffic.......we got there around the same time as the ppl who waited for the third bus.....meh......it benefitted us anyway, because it saved us 2 bucks...haha...
I can prolly count the number of rides I went on with one hand...hmm...so let's try to remember...:
Sledge hammer (oh god, NEVER again! It did not look THAT scary when I saw it! holy crappers!)
Jet Scream (I really REALLY needed to pee......lol......it was so funny, cause me and Yee Sum were both sitting together and we're both like, after every other "swing", we're like, I NEED TO PEE!!! it was SO funny)
Merry-Go-Round (With Angel, Karen's sister...Is it just me? or does the ride go ALOT faster? seriously! I'm convinced it goes faster)
Thunder Run (yeah, the ride seems different from the last time I went on...whcih was like, 5 years ago, which is the last tiem I went to the park)
Bumper Cars (aww, I got stuck! there was this little girl that was driving the car, and the thing is that, they didn't let her on the ride, because she was so small, but then they let her after everyone there were like, aww! BOO!!! so they let her play, but then she couldn't turn the wheel, and so she bumped me into a wall, and i couldn't get out! aww.....oh well)
Taxi something-or-other? (erm, it was the kiddy roller coaster in Hanna Barbera soemthing-or-other...lol...I was watching Angel at that point while the rest of them were lining up for Tomb Raider....lol, not for me!!)
That's all I can remember, so that was prolly it....
but it wasn't a total loss, I had my first funnel cake! it was GOOD! mmm....hehe....well, I think i liked the ice cream more.........lol............but yeah.........
oh yeah, so it was Jody, Karen, Angel, Leslie, May, Yee-Sum, and Dave. at first, I was like, who were the other ppl? cause i've never met yee-sum or dave before, so i'm like.....um.......hi! and karen didn't introduce us......so after a while, i was wtih jody, and i'm like, who're the other ppl?? and she told me it was yee-sum and dave, but i'm like, i know how' yee-sum and karen know each other, but who's dave?? yup, after a while, I came to the conclusion that they were bf/gf, dave and yee-sum i mean.
So the day at wonderland was fun, except for when jody went to see her friend Constance sing at the competition thingy.......cause she was like, ok, i'll met u at the front after she sings.......u know what? forget about it
so she goes in. and we're like, so...waht? and then we end up going in to watch the first act.....but we didn't end up seeing the individual singers, cause karen and i watned to see what they were selling at the snackbar thing, cause she felt like potato wedges......but we heard them, and she was good! but yeah, and then jody tried to contact us to see where we were gonna meet, but her phone was outta battaries......and so it was just bad.......cause karen took too long to try to say where we were, so she gave me the phone to answer when she called again. but...agh...just...communications problems. we ended up going to lost children, and asked if they could help, and then when the person was telilng me it was just for children, the phone rang, and i felt so rude, cause i had to answer, cause i knew if i dind't pick up, her phone was gonna die on her......so i just kinda walked away without apologizing or anything....but yeah, i managed to say "front gates, lost children" and she found us.
OH! you know what? I've decided to not like Wonderland because they don't recycle! in the entire park, well, no, just the parts I walked, I found ONE recycling bin! at least I think it was recycling! cause it was clearly for bottles.......so i'm assuming they recycle that.....but i walked around looking for a recycling bin TWICE! and it was SOOOOOOO annoying! ARGH! I'm writing them an angry email! GRR!
We left at 9:30ish I believe.....and we went to Markham to eat at this all-you-can-eat japanese place....it was CRAZY! It was absolutely hilarious though, because yee-sum ordered SO much food! cause like, she came after us, and we had already ordered, and then she ordered some more, but she never ordered before, so she ordered ALOT.....like, over 60 pieces of sashimi/sushi!!!!! and like, they just kept on coming and we kept on eating and laughing and making jokes! it was SO FUN though! hehe......yee-sum and dave were having a contest though, who could eat the most......it was so funny, cause whatever one person eats, they ahve to put the same thing on the other person's plate......and like, yee-sum would be, whoa! when did you eat that?!? and he'd be like, just now! and I was the designated witness because i was sitting straight across from them.....haha........but yeah......it was SO fun!!! lol.....whenever i go out with karen's friends though, like, when it comes to eating time, I ALWAYS laugh so much! it's crazy! lol.....and dave was like, omg, i ate so much rice (from the sushi)...and now it's starting to expand...I don't feel so good........LOL it was SO funny! and then yee-sum was like, yeah, me too............ oh man.........i hate nothing close to what they ate prolly, but i did eat alot mroe than usual, and i did have problems trying to eat my rice today at dinner, cause i ate so much yesterday......lol.......like, seriously, i had maybe 5 grains of rice today, and i'm like.....ew.....don't puke, don't puke! i didn't. but seriously, it was a challenge to eat all that rice......lol
i should've taken yesterday's oppurtunity to try raw fish again though......like, not sashimi, but maybe the almost california rolls, but with salmon........cause it was a tiny tiny piece........oh well...........i'll have my chance again prolly.....but like, in a year......seriosuly, i don't feel like eating sushi for a while........what i ate yesterday, is prolly the amount of all the sushi i've ever eaten in my life combined. :shock:
so yeah. it was fun :) my legs are still tired though.
tomorrow, i need to get up early to call the school, ask them about the math requirements and stuff....then gotta call a doctor, see if i can get an appt to get my arm checked out.....i dunno, stupid numb/tingly feeling has been persistent......i think it's time to get it diagnosed......and i gotta vote, and i have a dentist checkup as well....i'm gonna try to apply to some more jobs tomorrow prolly......hmm........we'll see....damnit! why aren't I even getting calls?!? I really thought I was totally qualified for 2 of the jobs! but no call, no interview, no nothing! :( I'm so sad......and i'm spending money like I have enough to randomly throw around, but I really don't! like, it feels like I do, but I have enough to pay for the current month's rent and all my bills and stuff, but I'm neglecting the fact that I need money for during the school year too! *@#$*^*&@#*$&*&!@ :evil: ARGH! :cry: sighsighsigh
so yeah.........gonna go sleep now prolly.......g'nite all

so Amy and I (plus Van Hartnett) went to see London yesterday, it was good! well, except for the part where I missed my academic counsellor to sign some papers to switch into Comp Sci and that I forgot to pick up my CS assn'ts...argh.....others than that though, it was good! oh wait, i lie; the drive home wasn't that great because it got dark and rainy...others than those 3 things (and paying for like, 20min parking for $5), so 4 things, it was great! hehe! the apartment is absolutely GREAT! I LOVE IT! hehe!!! I'm so excited for next year! like, SERIOUSLY! my room has nothing in it right now except for the computer desk i got from The Brick (Kalen helped me set it up) and Hana's futon, which will go in the living room once I move my bed in, but I like it! hehe!
Amy and I were debating who was gonna get the 2nd room and who'd get the 3rd room, cause, it didn't matter to me, but the 2nd room was closer to the front door (for late mornings) and the 3rd room is directly outside of the bathroom door (good for Amy..haha).....haha....Amy finally settled on the 2nd room...lol...right by the fridge(s)...lol....
so, the tenants that previously lived there didn't put up curtains at all, but I think I know why...because the rooms are facing a forest! lol! no one would see anyway! and like, honestly, I dont' know if I'm gonna bother with curtains myself.....I'll see when I'm there during a sunnier day......but seriously, I currently don't see why I would need curtains for my bedroom....anyway
I just absolutely love the place :!: if I could afford it, I'd definatley stay there again the year after (if i'm still at the school that is) and I'd prolly work in london over the summer then.......hmm.....anyway, it smells good too! lol...so many air fresheners because they previous tenants had a dog there.......so yeah.......and they weren't exactly neat/clean ppl....so yup, lots and lots of air fresheners!
oh! AND! we thougth we'd have to go up 3 flights of stairs, but we don't! if we go thru the back, it's only one! well, two half flights.......so yeah! it's so awesome! :D
I'M SO EXCITED BEYOND BELIEF!!!!!!!!! EEEE!!!! lol, I was telling Anna about it at work today, and i think she thinks I'm crazy...but I told her and Steph that they have to come up to london sometime!!!!!! hehe!!! fun!!! lol. we'll sing and drink [caffeine] and sing some more! lol...anyway! I need to see about this dinner situation.....no one's home yet.......and i'm hungering...

ooh, I found this random site for surveys and stuff....hehe....it lists the questions, and u type in ur answers, and then it gives u the code to post in ur blog or whatever so it's in a table format... I was actually trying to write a program to do something similar to this, but with java, and to run in MS-DOS...haha, I gave up on it...lol...maybe i'll try again this summer...we'll see!

I was supposed to blog this yesterday when I found out, but I was jumping around too much! hehe! I GOT INTO COMPUTER SCIENCE!!!!!!!! WHHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! lol, that's right! I, Mandy, made it into 2nd year compsci! hehe! lol, but see, i dunno if it REALLY counts, cause I didn't get the minimum requirements :? erm........gotta try SUPER hard next year.......:? but! best part is: I don't need to retake Linalg OR CS027! yay!!!!! I'm still gonna try to redo most of my CS027 assignments though......more headbanging! heh, but not particularly to the music........lol
so yeah, I got my warped tour ticket! so excited! EE!!! :D hehe and going to Wonderland this weekend, so excited too! but I dunno how many ppl are actually going......sigh.........i know jody and karen are definately going........chris bailed, laura has work, all the other ppl may have work......i think theola said she'd be able to come.........but......if it's just me, karen, jody, and theola, i think there may be tension, because theola didn't really get along wtih jody and karen......:? erm.....we'll see........hmmmm
ooh, going to london tomorrow......amy and i need to sell our text books (hmm, i wonder if i should sell linalg? i know i don't need to take it, but what if i need info of some sort? hmm......i'll see what we're learning in math/CS next year........then i'll decide.....heh) and i need to maybe sign something to switch from ACS/CS to just CS.......yup......and see the apartment.....start moving stuff in...well, so far, i just have a desk (maybe i'll put it together tomorrow too, and then put stuff on it.....lol) and a huge box with very little stuff that i started putting together last night of stuff i watned to bring to london with me.......hmm.....i dunno, i'll think about it more when i start cleaning my room again tonight...lol......still cleaning! argh! i finished the dresser, and now i've moved to under my bed and res stuff......lol.....it's SLOWLY getting there! lol.....but yup!

yup! so i thought that was totally weird.........lol......well, it was mainly that whole, tall/blonde/white thing......cause i msged it, and like, 1/2 a second later, she msged it........lol........it was SOOOOO weird!
but yea, went bubbletea-ing today with Amy, Amy, Anton and Carol today.....it was fun! hehe......well, we had our drinks (i had taro jsut cause i haven't had it in a while.....meh.......should've gone for mango or something).....oh yeah, and Alice was working there (from senior public school).....but yeah, and the CP ppl were just talking about random stuff.......mostly on highschool (Anton's TA-ing, and so he hangs out with all the teachers.....lol) and politics...lol, I still dunno who i'm voting for......Unless I actually research into their issues and stuff, I dont' think i'm gonna vote for one of the main parties........but anyway.....and then after carol left to go out with her other friends, we started playing cards.....lol........Amy Ng lost every single game, like, in last place, except for ONE.....lol.....it was so sad.....but yeah...............
Anyway, gotta get some stuff done tonight......not THAT much to blog about right now...........

So far, my summer is lined up as follows:
Saturday, June 26 - Scarborough Elementary School reunion at Wonderland (I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! YAY!!!)
Saturday, August 14 - Warped Tour in Barrie! I can't wait either!!!!!!!
um, either the coming up Monday or the Monday after that (21 or 28), Amy and I are going to London to sell some books and I'm gonna talk to a counsellor and we're gonna see our apartment and we're gonna move some stuff in prolly........I can't wait for that either!
lol......yup, three whole days planned out for the next 2 months and...um...2 weeks? oh shit! 2.5 months?!??! NO!!! the summer's almost half over/!? you've GOT to be kidding! I still need to find a job! :cry:
I applied to SO many places at the end of last week, and I haven't heard from anyone yet......sighsighSIGH! SIGH...........I guess it's time to start looking for a part-time job in london! SIGH EVEN MORE!!!!!!!!!
I don't even have the tickets for Wonderland OR Warped Tour yet! aghh! but I'll get them! I WILL! and then i'll be broke afterwards......agh.......i haven't saved anything yet since I got back from school........pay off credit cards (6 -ish freakin birthdays in May! hoLY! why couldn't they be spread out! that, PLUS my contact lenses just made my VISA skyrocket!), and pay rent.........agh.........damnit! I hate having to spend money on NOTHING! and to spend $450 for 4 months for NOTHING! It really is really annoying. EFF!!!!!! Next year, if I get a place for the summer, I'm staying! then again, if i change schools...........................I dunno what's going on yet.......too far into the future.......I just wanna get my registration stuff NOW for second year!!!!!

ooh, one thing I really want to get whenever I have some extra cash (heh, whenever that will be...in like, 20 years? :roll: ), is a straightening iron for my hair......lol....a ceramic one...i used vanessa's (girl on my floor in first year) once, and it was SOO good......lol......yup! so that was random. I wonder if it's possible to get one for less than 40? less than 30 preferably.......i know less than 20 is outta the question though.....lol.......damn, why am I so poor?!? right, because I work at SC only for the summers and I keep spending like I have a job during the school year.....:? oy...
Anyway. I think I'm still gonna try finish cleaning my room, then vacuum all those little places where I need to move furniture to clean. lol. hopefully i finish today. and tomorrow, I can move onto the stuff out in the hall from res. :?

my room is finally almost clean! yay!!!!! hehe!!! and like, u can see that it's almost clean, as opposed to my drawers being empty but all my stuff still exposed.....heh......now it's in the drawers.......but i think the room may get messy again soon-ish, because I want to repaint my dresser, cause the paint's coming off (well, it's cracked, and certain places, it's just, well, it's just wood, and not paint at all)........so in order to paint it, i need to take everything out..............but see, the problem is, i don't want to move my entire dresser downstairs or anything.............so.......should i just paint it in my room? i could put lots and lots and lots of newspaper down on the floor......and then sleep in the computer room until the paint smell is almost gone......hmm.....but yeah...........if i repaint......what colour should i make it? same? or change? well, it's currently white, with blue drawers.............and i don't really feel like buying new paint...........my dad said we have white, black, green........heh.......we prolly have grey too....................i'm thinking maybe black? or should i make a design? haha.......too much work though
i dunno! any suggestions? i should check what kinda paint i have first, and if it's gloss, semi gloss, or matte...hehe........

It's basically trying to tell the difference between chinese, japanese and korean people...it's HARD! i got 7/18, being a Chinese person myself :shock:
so yeah............in the midst of applying for jobs again.....agh.......SC just isn't somethign I wanna be doing full time.....i just don't care.......well, maybe i care alittle more than Rachel did in Friends...hehe, I watched the episode where she quit at the coffee house because she didn't care about the coffee she served ppl because she wanted to do soemthing fashion related.......but yeah...agh... I just dont' wanna work at SC for a 4th year...agh, this 3.5th year is enough as it is! grr
oh! I got my business mark finally........and my overall average for first year university isn't too great........not great at all.........mid sixties......agh.......damnit, i'm gonna have to find a differnt program that's not computer science, cause I'm not gonna make it! ahh! sighsighsigh! oh well......ppl are getting their registration appointments in their emails, but i haven't gotten one yet! what if they entirely kicked me outta Western cause I didn't get into CS and I don't have enough to stay in ACS? AHH! I'm gonna cry :cry: .. like, what would I do? cause I'm already paying for rent there....maybe i could just not do school for a year, and work in London for the year...hmm...but would they let me back in? if not, I guess I could apply elsewhere...but for the year, I don't wanna waste away my apt...sighsigh.........but yeah anyway......hehe, i could edit everyone's paper :wink: (Kalen, haha).......but yeah......anyway

ok, so far, since I've returned home from school, I've cleaned my washroom 2.5 times, but I have yet to finish cleaning my bedroom! damnit!!! oh well. I should try to get as much done as I can before I go to bed tonight, but my arm has that tired/hurt/weak feeling right now...not sure if it's cause I didn't really eat properly today or if it's cause I washed the tub and floor or it's from my bath.....no idea.......oh yeah, I bought the georgion peach bubble bath thing from Fruits and Passions yesterday and used it today.......mm.......it smells good.....hehe.....but damn, i used like, half the bottle! cause I was pouring it into the tub, but it was coming out slowly, so i just held it there.......and like, i couldn't tell how much I poured, so when i put the bottle down so it would all go back to the bottom, i was like, crap, this bath is costing me $6! lol.......
ooh, fruits and passions had this hand cream that the salesperson was trying to get me to buy, but I didn't like the smell at the time, so i didn't get it.......but when we (hong and I) left the mall, and i was sitting in the car, i was like, it smells really good now! like, REALLY good! I'm not sure if I wanna get it.....hmmm.......I don't know how much it costs on its own, but the sales person said that if I got it at that time I bought the bath bubble stuff, it'd be only $6......so......hmm.......i'll think about it
I finally bought Spysweeper today...I think it's working......but there's still stupid windows popping up that says we have spyware on the comp.......but when I'll scan it, and it says that we don't have any! grr.......it's annoying......but now whenever I go to a site with important information, I scan the harddrive before I type in anything.......but so far, there hasn't been any new spyware installed ..... that's a good sign...let's see how long this holds up *fingers crossed*
