oh man, I have SUCH a crazy week ahead of me :cry:
Wednesday: Math quiz worth 5% of my final mark
Thursday: CS210 concept assn't due worth 3% of my final mark
Friday: CS209 quiz worth 1% of my final mark
Next Monday: CS209 assn't due worth 4% of my final mark
Next Tursday: Sociology part one of assn't (research paper basically) due worth freakin 20% of my final mark (approximately)
Next Thursday: Writing101 essay #2 due wort 15% of my final mark

And the crappiest part of all this, I am not enjoying any of my classes at all! Do I really want to do this for 2 more years after this? I really don't know...but my room's decorated so nicely I don't want to move out if I decide to switch schools! man! hmm...then again, there's Fanshawe...hmm...I should look into that...lol...

I feel so lost in classes already, and in everything in general...I'm just like a lost little puppy, but surrounded by monkeys...hehe :)

heh, Back from my 24 hr-ish excursion to the States..lol (this post starts the same way as my last post..l.ol)....It was SUCH a spontaneous trip...oh man! lol..I don't think I've ever done anything THAT spontaneously...heh, we were all just sitting in the Kitchen (Jenna, Kalen, Hana and I) just having some snacks and talking about random stuff...and then somehow, it came up that Jenna and Hana and Kalen all wanted to go to the States sometime to go do some shopping...and then they're like, we should go together! and then, like, after 20 min. of random crazy discussing and stuff, we're like, OKAY! We're going to Detroit! (or Michigan...I still don't know exactly where we went...erm...Port Huron?) I felt so bad, cause I totally ditched Amy and Catherine (Cat was actually at the apt already, and we were waiting for Amy to call to see when we should go meet her at the bus stop)....sorry guys!!!

Anyway, so like, we had this whole planning thing at 2:30ish-3pmish just to discuss whether or not we were really were going that weekend(this weekend?)....and then by...I dunno....4:30? we left for the banks...and by...I dunno, 5 prolly, we were on our way to the States..lol...it was a very interesting 20ish hrs of confusion...heh

we decided to just go to Port Huron cause it was close and safe (so we hear) and we got there around...i dunno...6:30? (it's SO close! it's closer than Mississauga! crap! heh, i think we'll be making several trips there as long as our dollar is doing well against the US dollar) and we went to Holiday Inn express, where Jenna and Hana went in first to get a room (to avoid paying for ALL 4 ppl)...and like, within 5 min, they come back out to the parking lot and jenna's doubled over laughing! and we;'re like, what what?!? See, Jenna and Hana looked like they were "together" because they only had one piece of luggage between the two of them, and they just looked like they could've been lesbian lovers just married from Canada, and it was so funny, cause the receptionist person told them that they only had one room left in the hotel...and it was the Honeymoon Suite.... LOL! oh MAN it was HILARIOUS! but yeah, we end up getting it (cause they gave them a discount as well, and we didn't wanna go find another hotel), and it was HUGE! there were 2 tvs, a kitchen area(no stove), two bathrooms, a pull out couch, a king bed, a lazyboy and a jacuzzi....heh, it was pretty ugly though...oh well

so yeah...then we went to do some shopping (found this AWESOME sale at Aeropostale...I would've bought more if I loved monkeys and were athletic at all..but I wasn't...so I just bought a sweat top&pants and a tshirt...good good deal: less than $35USD total :wink: )
The next day, we went back to the same mall, and did more shopping...more good deals...after exchange rates and everything, it prolly worked out to about the same in Canadian (including taxes at the border :? )....but it was more interesting stuff...things we don't normally find in Canada...aww, I love my country, but our stuff is so expensive! Campus Crew needs an awesome 80% off sale too...lol...
Anyway...we had some issues at the border because we had bought WAY too much stuff (Hana bought an MP3 player, Kalen bought WAY too much stuff at Aeropostale and other places), and so we had problems...not gonna go thru TOO many details...BUT, the 2 ppl who searched our car was pretty nice (after theyw ere done searching that is), and the guyu actually goes to Western too...lol...it'd be HILARIOUS if he saw us (or we saw him) at school..lol...didn't catch what program he was in (nor do I even remember if he disclosed such information), but apparently he was like, a Soph for Saugeen a couple years ago (or, for a few years for that matter I think...)...that was funny...hehe...but anyway

but yeah, it was weird, when we all called our parents to ask/let the know about going to the States, they ALL took it suprisingly well! we're like, whoa, what was that?!? lo....but I guess it worked out okay! hehe...but yeah...I guess I should call back and let them know that everything is okay....except that I used more money than I should've...I wasn't supposed to use ANY money since i had to pay rent and such...but...sigh...:( maybe I SHOULD apply to SC at masonville...they're hiring I think...I saw a girl at an interview the other day...Kay and I were like, should i apply? ir eally should...but I was like, even if i want a job, i dunno if i wanna go to SC...cause then I'd NEVER be ableto leave that compnay ever! :( sigh...i dunno...I should consider it though...and I geuss if I just can't handle it...quit? I should ask how much they'd hate me...OH! I just got SUCH a good idea! I could work until they find a replacement! okay, gotta go discuss wtih kay...l8z!

oh yeah, sum up: it was a good beginning of a weekend...technically, it's only saturday evening...lots more can happen in the next 24 hours...heh..but i gotta get work done..we'll see...anyway, l8z!

Back in London from my 24 hr-ish excursion to Mississauga.  Just hung out with Steph and Van; ate some; laughed some...mmm, demetres...

I wasn't too productive hw-wise...yet...I still have all of today...we'll see...but I MUST get math out of the way and get started on that writing essay thing...grr...I can't related to any of the six topics he gave us to write about! oy...

It was Nachelle's bday on Thursday, and we all (8M and her other friends) went to GTs...(earlier that day, Kalen and Hana were out, and they came back and said they saw a guy getting into a cab on crutches...so they thought it was Mike)...it all started with Brian, Kalen, Nachelle and I going in a cab to GTs.  The line was super long in the front, so Kalen and Nachelle went to the back to see the line there.  about 10 minutes later, Dean and Nachelle came to the front to look for Brian and I and told us to go to the back.  We got there, and the security guy told us that we could not join them in line (they were halfway thru the line, with a couple of 8M and 4U people), and Dean couldn't go back either - Nachelle was let in because it was her b-day.  and so Sohel came to talk to Dean, but he wasn't' let back in either. but after a while, Dean and Sohel snuck back into the line further up when the security guy wasn't looking (and also, they change every 30min or so, so it was easier that way).  Brian was talking to a couple ppl behind us in line; a couple of 8M people came and i left the line to go behind 2 groups of ppl to stand with them...and then like, 10 min later, Vanessa came, but was all by herself, so we left the line to stand with her.  Soon after, Brian snuck into the middle of the line to where nach and all them were.  Anyway.  So, we (Paula, Cheryl, Vanessa, me) waited about an hour (I think I waited 1.5 - 1.75 hours total) and got to the door half an hour after the others got in.  I gave the guy my ID first, and got in.  Vanessa gave him hers, but they didn't let her in because it didn't look like her.  Since Cheryl and her were roomates, she left with Vanessa, and then Paula gave him hers, and since she's from Alberta, he asked for another piece of ID, but she didn't have any (she had originally taken a cab there, and had to go all the way back to get her ID, whcihc she had initially forgotten, and then came back...costed her $25 for that whole thing), so they didn't let her in.  So I was the only one in of the four...:? but I went in anyway, cause everyone else was there.  I wanted to look for Mike, but I went to look for Kay and Nach first.  We got a couple of drinks (a shot, and an actual drink), and while we're drinking the drink, Sohel comes by and said that we were gonna go to the phoenix...like, 5min after I get into the door! argh! :x so I didn't even get to say hi to my former 8M floor...so we went, and had to pay cover, and holy crap it was PACKED in the Phoenix! like, I've never been shoved, pushed or smushed so much!  oy...I didn't really like it there; too many ppl, didn't like the music, too many asian ppl...lol....and no chance Mike was there...sigh...so yeah...we prolly spent about 1-1.5 hrs there? then we headed home...and that's my story of that night basically.
But then, that night, I had a dream; I was at GTs, and for some reason, our drinks came in those cardboard drink trays u normally get thru drive-thrus.  Before we left the place, I went to the back to recycle the tray, and I saw Mike there to recycle his tray as well - while still on crutches.  We talked a bit, can't remember about what...and we walked back to our apartment.  He met my roomates, and we went to my room and we just talked. That's all I remember, but I remember waking up content, yet annoyed that we didn't stay at GTs longer.  I really wanted to see how he was doing.
As I told Catherine that night, I need to let go.  I know that he's definately no longer interested. So why waste my time.

I linger too much in the past. What if this happened? what if that happened? what if I had done something different? It's too late now, but I still have these thoughts.  I think I'm just scared, and hold onto whatever I can.

Tonight was the first night with all the 311 girls. I must say it was a very enjoyable evening...filled with lots of laughs and good food and good drinks...hehe...well, the champagne was terrible, but the polar bear shots were very yummy!  mmm...they tasted like after eight chocolates....mmm.... but man, i was PINK afterwards...lol...like, my whole upper body was pink too! it was crazy! took a couple hours to wear off...haha....we were all nuts though...Jenna didn't even have anything to dirnk and she was laughing for 15 min. straight....hehe, and like, she had 20 different laughs, so the rest of us kept laughing at her...oh man...it was crazy...hehe....but it was fun...I'd do it again, but minus the champagne...ugh...it tasted like beer...ewww....kinda...i dunno...tasted BAD...heh, Nachelle was upset that she wasn't there to see me drink...haha....I was drunk and everyone was so amused...lol.....I called Steph cause "In The End" was playing, but I couldn't really hear her through the phone...aww....but she was STUDYING! lol..it was funny...but anyway....

It's Nachelle's bday on Thursday...we're prolly gonna go out for that...but dunno if we're gonna do THurs AND Friday? still thinking...hehe....but anywya...I'm sleepy...g'nite

Went to GTs tonight with all my current roomates...a bunch of Saugeen ppl were there...well, just in general, alot of ppl there there...including Mike.....I saw him (Chris [jenna's bf] was standing in between me and him) but did'nt know what to do...so I just kept on looking hte other way....He was back on crutches though...I guess he got that knee surgery...hehe, hopefully he'll be healed for hockey season....
I had 2 drinks...turned SO pink...:? it was kinda funny...like, I felt okay...but REALLY pink...Jenna did my eye make up, so i guess by the end of the night (well, we only stayed for 2 hours, and left by 10:30pm), it just looked like i had my whole face makeup done..lol..eyes and blush! lol... oh, thelive band wasn't that great...they weren't as terrible as Hana made them out to be, but they weren't particularly good...but anyway....

first day of classes was alright...writing 101 is basically gr 8 writing all over again....but a bit harder...learning basically the same stuff..oy....i hope it proves useful in my CS classes...speaking of wish...my CS class today was SOO full...like, I've never seen it that full before! I didn't even know there were that many ppl in the CS program! .... i didn't see mike there though....he MAY have been there, but I'm sure i would've seen a guy on crutches if he was there....hm....anyway....back to the CS class...the prof seems good, asides from his accent that is...:?....but yeah, so far, 2 of my classes seem pretty dent...except for the work load....every 2 weeks i have a CS assn't due, and every 3ish weeks, we have an essay due in writing 101....and not to mention tha ti sitll have another CS class to go to, a math class to understand, and a sociology class as well! ahh! yikers! hehe....but anyway, i should go sleep now...need to get up to meet hana to stand in line for OSAP ... oy....

had a really good day today...asides from work...7-noon shift :? oh well

so, after work, i headed over to steph's house to wait for anna to shower so we could all go have lunch..and then while we're waiting, charisse calls and says she could come...so teh four of us (after 1.5 hours of waiting) went to demetres for some lunch...there were several good laughs...aww...i wanna name em all and everything, but i really should either sleep or continue packing (since it's 4am...)

and then after we parted (steph and anna had work), i went to carols and we hung out for a while in her room and then went for BBT and i bought some BBT for anna and steph (therefore i went back to work)...had some mroe good laughs...

now....while the SC girls were having lunch....compuSmart gave me a call to let me know about the status of my laptop....and well, let's just say something got mixed up and now it's in a diff. city and thye're having it shipped to my apartment...but yeah anyway...i'll blog about it later (if i ever get my laptop and internet in london...lol....oh! while i'm jotting that down, also gotta remeber to blog about Mandy Constructions ltd...LOL)....okay, so yeah, long story short: went to compusmart to set up the whole shipping thing and payment thing...

then i went home, ate dinner, and made cookies REALLY fast...never done it that fast before! yay! lol...well, 1.5 hours froms tart to finish..including packing and everything..hehe....i hope ppl don't get sick from my half-baked cookies!

and then i was in SUCH a rush from 7:30pm-10 because i had to make cookies, pack, check times for movie and such...arhg! but it all worked out okay int he end....and i went to see Wicker Park with Vanster at 10:50....but anyway...i really should go...but taht's a very very short update on my day today...

so Im moving to london tomorrow...i hope everthing is okay! sigh...i feel guilty though because so many ppl i know are having problems, but i seem to be leaving, and i seem to be problem free :? so guilty...but...agh...id unno....mixed feelings, and not necessarily for myself...

all ina ll though, i had a good day today...prolly my best day this summer :) well, today, and the wonderland/allucaneatsush i day may tie...not sure..lol...but anyway, should relaly go...ttyl
