posted by: cat (reply) post date: 07.02.05 (2:52 pm) that sounds FREAKY, i didn't know they did piercing w/ a needle! anyways, a friend of mine has her's pierced... i think she's had it for a long time... but she does have an interesting story! :) 2 yrs ago she had to go to the hospital regarding the piercing. apparently she had gotten a cut on her ear right by her earing, somehow, and as her skin was healing, it healed over the earing.. i dunno how fast this happened... like if it healed overnight, or if it happened over a long timespan and she just didn't notice it healing weird... but anyways, she ended up going to the hospital and having then cut her ear so that she could take the earing out. so there's a story for u! :) it's not really anything really negative. just interesting... i say u should go for it! i think they look kewl. posted by: Mandy (reply) post date: 07.02.05 (6:47 pm) Reply to: cat jeebus! that's terrible!!! :S but yeah, it's really bad with a gun, because they use the stud that u're gonna wear, and it's dull and thick, so it damages the cartilege...so it's better with a needle... (i'll prolly see it in ur blog when i go in 2 min ;)) posted by: newbie (reply) post date: 07.12.05 (2:06 pm) hi mum...actually it's pretty good gettin a piercing with the gun cause it's less pain and it's cleaner since they pierce you with the actual earring that you choose....so no needles to worry about....but yes i used to get it at the hair salon at square one the one in front of the pretzel shop but they don't pierce there anymore....but they did a pretty good job....most places do it well you just have to know where to tell them to pierce it and yes! cleaning daily is a MUST if you wanna keep the piercing free of irritation or infection =D posted by: daughtsy (reply) post date: 07.12.05 (2:08 pm) that was me btw....i'm not a newbie!!!! i just forgot to write my name! |
