The truth and nothing but the truth. You say what you mean. No mixed signals. You don't succumb to the typical game-playing that so often accompanies dating. In fact, you won't even humor the guy if you're not interested. And, if you're looking for reassurance, you'll ask for it. Naivete is not the best card to play in the dating game. You take what he says at face value, no questions asked. Is that a good thing? Well, it depends on the guy and the situation. You don't seem concerned that there could be an underlying message that he's secretly trying to convey. Remember that it's common for people to say things they don't mean, or to throw in a white lie or two to avoid an awkward situation. Until you know someone's intentions, it's smart to be a little skeptical. By no means are we saying that cynicism is the key to a healthy relationship. Not at all. But a small dose of it might be helpful in the beginning. Your first inclination is to assume that his words mirror his thoughts, which reflects your open and honest nature. That's a great quality. Remember, however, that sometimes he won't dare speak his mind. Hopefully, your straightforward ways will make him more inclined to follow your lead and communicate directly. In the meantime, however, how about trying to find a middle ground? An open mind mixed with a touch of skepticism might just be the best remedy. You'll be well on your way to cracking the datespeak code!

Hmm, so, I agree that I was/am too naive. Should I ever find myself in such a situation again, I WILL be more skeptical, and not take things for face-value. hmph. Take THAT for taking advantage of my naivety and innocence.

hi manager, here's what your asst. has to say, we are who we are, we can't help who we are soo no worries i guess.... maybe after 4 hrs of listening to lifehouse something has gotten to me :S

Thanks Kay. Lifehouse is good, eh? :) Did u listen to the same song for 4 hrs?! If so, I think u beat me in looping music then!
And yes, we are who we are, and we can't help it. But, it hurts sometimes :(

oh daughtsay, you are just so absolutely silly sometimes. If you are bored, go to bored.com! lol. Or go on mumsay's MSN spaces website; I have a couple of random sites to check out if you're bored, or in need of procrastination. Actually, I think I have more sites that I've been meaning to put on, than ones I actually have on there.
Anyway, that test was found on the Tickle Test website (it says that at the beginning of the post! The link is provided there as well)

And yes, you did tell me about ur football, and I proceeded to ask why you would bother buying a real football, when we have rolls of garbage bags at work. :D hehe. Not pointy enough, eh? lol. :P
