So, I didn't do any work for the past 24 hrs (That's actually accurate, cause exactly 24hrs ago, I left the computer lab)....instead, I hung out with Cat! fun! hehe
I dont' even know how the idea even started...but we decided to watch a movie at her place, and i may or may not sleep over cause her place is warm, and my place is like a freezer.
Anyway. So, I'm waiting for the bus, and I'm like, great, I don't have my cell phone. ...I don't remember Cat's phone number .... I DON'T KNOW WHAT APARTMENT NUMBER SHE'S IN/ :shock:
So the entire time, I'm like, I hope she realises this too. Cause... uh...otherwise.... I think i'm gonna be forced to either a) wait for someone to open the door at the front, and then knock on every single door on the first few floors of the buildling or b) go back home. Then the bus comes. I get on. I coudln't quite see where we were. So I got off at the stop I thought her buildling was near. I was one stop too early. ....so, I walk ... and walk... and walk ... and then I see her street...and then I saw Cat waiting for me! Thanks bud! :D
So, we get to her place, and we're like, okay, let's order pizza. and we decided on this crazy huge combo. We call. She's placing our order...and she gives me this LOOK and whispers, WHAT TOPPINGS?!??! so, on one pizza, she puts spicy sausage and onion...then she asks me what to put on the other...so I point at the list of toppings available on the flyer we were looking at. I wanted green peppers. so I pointed to it. THen i'm like...hmm...meat...I like chicken in general...so I pointed at that...and as soon as she said it, she made the most disgusted face! I could barely withold my laughter... and then I thought about the combination, and tried to "taste" what it would taste like...and I'm like...ugh....so, i'm like, can i change green peppers to mushrooms? ...so we did... then we complete our order. and we're like, wait, we didn't mention the student discount! so we call back...and i'm like, can i change that last pizza order again? to just pineapple and bacon? ...so yeah. we did that.
It was interesting.
heh. That's all I have to say about that for now...........oh, and Cat's roomate has this blanket in the living room that is SOOO amazingly warm. like. WOW. I don't think I've ever used such a thin and light blanket that retained SO much heat. I need to find one for myself. too bad hers didn't have a tag to even say what material it was made from. hmm.
ooh, we walked to this store on Richmond St today (after bussing back to my place). we were there for SOOO long. But the place is great - it supports fair trade, so I felt good about all my purchases. There was some really nice and unique things there that I've never seen before - I will definately be a repeat customer. ...when I have some money....
Speaking of money....Guess who's UWO'S SDC's newest Computer Installation Assistant?!?!
.........ME!!!!!!!!!! How awesome is that?!?! hehe. I'm excited. I have the option to do my own hw when no one needs me, or I can learn some PHP and ask for a project to work on. I think I'll do a bit of both, depending on what my workload is for that day/week.... cause having that experience would DEFINATELY be good for my resume...:D
Anyway. My fingers are going numb from coldness. So I'm gonna go cook some food. stove...warm....heat...:D ttyl ppl!!
